lease on

What is a typical lease like as far as pay ? Lets say i buy a truck and lease on to a small outfit just using their authority .
What % do they get ?
What if all I do is haul grain for one place like gavilon and the company I lease to also does this . Does Gavilon seperate the pay as far as his and mine or does the company do that and cut me a check ?

 

8 years driving 6 months grain hopper . Just trying to figure out how a leasee is paid . I know a guy I could lease onto but he is real bad about paying employees . just pays when ever he feels like it here and there . If he got the money i would not do it but if the shipper paid his and mine separately then I would .
Actually been trying to find the right time to get with a company for a company driver job that i have been talking to owner about .Just have not been able to meet up with him because of our driving times . this O/O stuff is just a future thought . Trying to put it all together with as much info as possible . Figured I would work company for a few more years and save up more money and be able to buy a nicer truck than i could now.

 

actually just got a very good job from a local company hauling grains . Better pay , legal truck , less DDG ! Friendly helpful drivers and very nice owner who bent his no pet policy for me . I was going to try and save a little more and buy a decent truck and lease on with him but no need now . That was so cool of him to do that as I am basically a loner and all I have is my dog and she has been in my truck for years . No way I could part with her .

 

three days and 10 hours of sleep . Was not ready for the call to come on board at 4 am so only got 3 hours sleep . Been home every night but first load took us all day to get so we never left town . Had to get up early to get it out of state so another 3 hours sleep . Back load to home but had to get up early for some paper work training as they are very picky about it . So 4 hours sleep . But came home yesterday and doing restart . Now I will be back to what I normally do when driving .. sleeping at least 6 hours .
