The difference is the insurance carrier wasn't involved in a botched delivery.
They are in an injury/accident/doctors visit.
They run the industry, they dictate the terms.

Thank you for the kind words, I couldn’t imagine having them send a driver to Montana just to chauffeur me around unless the leg was completely gone, lol! -
Every company has different policies. Its nothing to be alarmed about.Call them and see why u had to take a drug test.Mr.X Thanks this.

Yeah for a 60 truck outfit these guys are a little ridiculous IMO, and thats the main gripe I hear from the other drivers, just to much company policy bs.
Im glad i started the thread, you folks have made me feel better about my situation and I thank you for that!

Back to work! Or so says the Dr. Heck Im on crutches now. Instead of just stretching ligaments one of the ligaments busted off a chunk of bone, no clue how thats gonna heal up, but was told to wear the splint brace and not to put weight on that foot for 2 months. Hope wife doesn’t dispose of me before hand, lol.

when i had my motorbike wreck, i too chipped off some bone.
i was told i'll get arthritis there, and yes, i do.
didn't they tell you that now, you will get arthritis there???Mr.X Thanks this. -
It was an urgent care Dr, Im sure my regular Dr will let me know about that and hopefully more info!
I already have a little arthritis in my left knee so this right foot should balance that out nicely.
How long did it take you to heal up to where you could get back to normal physical work/fun? -
well along with the cracked/chipped bone, and some road rash, and 4 cracked ribs........... not back to work, but "normal physical fun activity"...?????
as long as it took for the TDI to run out. (temporary disability insurance) and that's about 30 weeks, (7.2 months months..??? in my state)Mr.X Thanks this. -
#####! Sounds like I might have to take long runs for a while. The routes require quite a lot of physical labor, and Im pretty sure I would just break it again in no time! Maybe have to wear a boot brace for the rest of my life. Thanks for sharing the info!
