By the lucar, I mean the terminal inside the plug. It conducts electricity, heat, and expands and contracts. A plug is used so that it is held in place. If it is loose you may be able to squeeze it together. Now in my truck the back switch does not light up. Try it on the fan at front for the rear hvac unit. All we are trying to prove is that you have a bad middle indicator light supply. Does that make sense?

Alot of the shops that have or been trained by older mechs keep test units that they will not sell but they will for the sake of a speedy repair, substitute to prove that a unit is broken. Like the climate control unit, use the test unit if there is no change then don't sell the customer a new one. Thats what I was trying to say above.
