They'd be running empty all the time. MPG will be 7.2. Just kidding. I agree it seems like a pretty spendy way to bust a few people on their cell phones.

Haha, I gotcha, gonna have to bring that up at the next drivers meeting. :)
Cops driving around MT checking out those fine Tennessee seat covers makes me just a little jealous!

As SHO-TYME said, it was seized in a drug bust. It's a long-nose Pete painted in the same color scheme as the state trooper patrol cars.

I don't have a problem giving a tough fine for talking on a cell phone but 125 dollars for cars and 22k for trucks is not fair. If they want to make it 22k across the board well that would be fair but that wouldn't be constitutional if you gave a ticket like that to a general motorist. Its ok if it's a truck driver though.

    It's only money, ---
Call it an investment in revenue.

How much time does a Big truck truck driver have, while drivin' down the highway in traffic, to be on the look-out for motorists yackin' on a cell phone, --- ?
Wouldn't that be a distraction from watchin' the traffic around the Big truck. Drivin' a Big truck safely is a job in itself. To use it for it's vantage point while rollin' to spot unsafe cell phone use by the general motoring public seems like another job to do at the same time. Would an experienced Big truck truck driver divert their attention from what they're doin' long enough to see what others are doin' in their car? I wonder what the experience level of the troopers drivin' the Big trucks is?

I wonder how that paint job was paid for?
I gotta say though, that paint scheme looks pretty spiffy. I'd like to see it rollin' at night with the blue lights on the roof flashin'.

Big truck truck drivers are well known for the stories they tell about their adventures, but, ---
"hey y'all ain't gonna believe this shehit, but I got pulled over by a trooper drivin' a long nose Pete",--- just might be construed as over the limits of believe-ability.

Am I readin' those numbers correctly?
One hundred twenty five dollars ($125) for cars, and, ---
Twenty two thousand dollars ($22,000) for Big trucks?
    That's quite a difference.

I gotta say there is no way I can text and drive a four wheeler safely much less a big truck.
