Looks like Ontario and Quebec are setting a bar for the rest of North America.....

Lol it's really awesome when you're loaded heavy!! What bothers me the most about this law is when you've got longer legs then the next guy, but he won't let off the go pedal for a second or two to let ya by..:(:(:(

Ontario and Quebec are the only jurisdictions in North America that currently have speed limiter laws on the books, and really something needed to be done, but speed limiters wasn't it. Now that they forced that on us, it seems like every truck out there is running on the limiter all the time and no one can pass. To avoid stress, I usually run right on the 100 km/h speed limit, although that usually gets me called every name in the book over the radio for holding up traffic. That being said, I got checked in Quebec a couple of weeks ago, and yes, my limiter is set at 105, even though I have 120 available on the pedal. There are ways to get around it and still be technically compliant.

Oh yeah that's the best part... You're doing 105, gaining on that Musket truck with the can..... You get beside him,. then all of a sudden you aren't passing him anymore.... he pulls away....... bunch of clowns
