Haven't figured how to get out of the truck to fuel up with my seat belt on so i always take mine off that's for sure
201 Thanks this. -
many seat belts can extend quite far, you should try stretching out a bit further.FatDaddy and aussiejosh Thank this.

Wasn't the Congo plant in Newell, was it? I've been there quite a bit and never wore my seatbelt on their property. Shell is somewhat infamous for their strict safety policies, though.mrdot Thanks this.

I do wear it truckstops and such, but only because if I drive over 10 mph, I get the annoying "ding ding" . Drives me nuts.

i have a 2010 Toyota Camry.
when someone sits in the passenger seat, the air bag light comes on, like i need to know it has one on that side. ok of course they have to buckle up, or the bells go on and on.
the other day, i had a case of beer and some groceries on the passenger seat, and the dam bells drove me nuts, for the 2 mile ride home.
i hate when that happens -
Same here. When I drove for Covenant, they had shuttle vans at the Chatt terminal. If you rode in one and unclicked your seatbelt before the van was in park and shut off you got yelled at.

Going through a gate or past a guard shack, I'd leave it buckled, but it came off when I stood on the fuel tank backing my Pete in a hole,,,,,,HA, no, I didn't stand on the tank, but did hear of older-timers than me, that would do that. Seriously, backing in, the belt comes off.
Mr.X Thanks this. -
I was gonna say, how else can a guy get his left foot on the runnin board so he can back up.
The seatbelt comes off just as soon as the tires leave the pavement!201 Thanks this.
