Maintnance/repair cost?

If I added that up correctly, all those numbers equal $2/mile. How does fuel factor in on that? Or does Schnieder pony up for that?

EDIT: Nevermind, I misread the decimal point.

 

Bought the truck in November of last year, so far this year it's been $13,798 in repairs/maintenance, that does not include 10 new tires I'll have to get in Nov. before snow/ice come along.....or ANY cosmetic repairs to the old girl...(correction, I did put in a new radio head unit $200...not included in the above number...)...I figure next year should be P/M's and injectors + harness (managed to delay that using a couple of used harnesses and injectors when mine gave it up earlier this year).....all on about 67K miles so far this year....

 

I bought the truck with 900k mi. I drove it for 6 months as a company driver before deciding to buy it.

I did manage to get almost 400k mechanically trouble free miles out of it. I think I could have gotten a lot more had I not ran it hot.

I guess all the bragging I was doing.. karma had to show me who's boss.

And yeah.. with almost 1 million... I started saving from day one. I used to vomit on a daily basis when I first went O/O, wondering how I was going pay everyone off and make a living before any major mechanical issues came up.

Truck has been very good for most part. I really cant complain.
