Just curious as to how you are doing? From my experience, you really cant learn this CORRECTLY on your own without someone taking you under their wing.. TO MANY costly mistakes you will make in the first 6 months..

Hi Tim, thanks for reaching out. You are so right! You hear so much different information about what is right, what is wrong and becomes very scattered. I want to learn the right way, so all in the end we all do well.

Well if you mean on here, pretty much the same. I have not joined or signed up with any company. Thanks for asking.

NewTransp, if you're looking for someone to help you learn more and work for, try TEDKEYSONLINE.COM - I read in another post he takes 50%, but you can work from home. I've learned quite a bit from his blogs and newsletter he sends out. Good luck.

That's more common than most think. I work from home as well, but I also don't have problems with pets or blaring tv's in the background.

I am am agent of a Landstar broker agency. I know Ch Robinson has offices and they tend to hire college students, they have an office in my area but refuse to hire anyone without a degree. If they do take agents from home they probably require experience and a book of business. That and their reputation is shockingly bad overall.
