Well tomorrow is the big day. Pre trip and road test at noon tomorrow at sealy dc. Anybody got any pointers for me tomorrow that would help me ?

Hi all, I'm taking pretrip\road test on the 21st in Woodland PA and was just wondering how detailed I need to be with the tester and how much time am I given to do the pretrip? I always kept my truck in perfect running order and passed every DOT inspection in ten years of driving so I just don't want to take too much time but also don't want to miss anything. I'd appreciate any info that you could pass my way.

 

9 minutes for the pretrip and it's intense

 

He will tell you how long, that's where I did mine his name is Jim just do your Pre trip touch every thing say nothing missing loose or leaking check for triangles fire extinguisher permit book dvi book make sure you use air horn to signal your backing up get out and look, you'll be fine and will be glad you came here

 

I would like to take a minute to thank all of you on this thread. Especially drozzer69 for starting this conversation. I've read the entire thread.
I applied back in June. I was called to schedule a phone interview. Three days later I received another call informing me that the DC decided not to hire at that time. Two weeks later I received another call to see if I was still interested. The information you folks posted in this thread walked me right through the pre-trip/road test. I received my formal job offer today for the Greencastle Indiana dc. I start orientation October 5th. Thank you all so much for your help.
