Oh that would be too easy I guess you're not up to a contortionist challenge?
I'm gonna pay some poor sucker when the time comes.
Ruthless Thanks this. -
I do enough of that at work 12 hours a day. Besides I have a rust hole in the floor that needs to be fixed and the rear bottom cab frame section is rotten around the back cab mounts so the cab has to come off anyways.

Just another reason why I'll never own a "modern" truck. On the old Pete, it was a simple job. When I took it apart (for the heck of it) it had that white crusty stuff, which probably meant a malfunctioning air dryer at some time in it's life.

Next time pop the pin out and remove pedal, use a rolled up piece of emery cloth to clean hinges lube and reassemble. I used to haul road salt and......about every 2 years....

while you have the hinge pin out pull the rubber boot off the valve and clean up the metal cap that sits on top of valve. they have a tendency to stick from corrosion also. a little neverseize and a few cold ones is all it takes!

Hi rc, you DO have the floor mounted one right? As one that hangs from under the dash, is a different story.
