iv done jobs where i had to back in over a mile. high range and on the throttle. you get pretty good at it after a while biggest thing is small movements of the wheel.

Picked up a car at a farm, he gave directions for the best way back to town. 3/4 mile later, there was a grade crossing too steep for a carhauler.

He sure looked at me funny when I went back by his place in reverse @ 20 some-odd MPH, on my way back to the first intersection I could t-turn into.

Try backing up a 1/2mile farm driveway that's not as wide as your truck in high reverse.

I remember grabbing gears going backwards. That's quite the attention getter. :D

On my old route 1-2 mile back-ins were fairly common. It's amazing where some of these internet shoppers live and expect you to be able to access with a truck.

I've always been a bit timid of trying reverse hi when loaded. It takes a lot to get everything moving just bobtailing. (I think hi reverse is ~3:1 where as 1st lo is usually ~12:1

Dont, No, Stop, Why?....Yea I've done Hi Reverse while empty a couple of times just for fun.

I felt like Jason Statham in Transporter.

That was 2 years ago. Cut that #### out.
