I am new to the industry and want to get a better idea of what to expect. Could you elaborate on a few of the largest problems that you face?

Pay special attention to the "Payscale" section....They say, and I quote-
"
First-year drivers can make as much as $30,000, depending upon which affiliate you work for and the type of freight hauled.
As much as $30,000??!?!?
That's waaaaay less than a burger flipper can make, IMO. And they don't have to live in a closet and pee in bottles (well, at least most don't.......)
NavigatorWife and robjr1988 Thank this. -
I bet "burger flippers" would LOVE to make $14.42 per hour, for a 40 hour week, and a 52 week year.
But yes, that is total garbage pay for truck driving---ESPECIALLY because you know for a fact that your weeks will be over 40 hours, and that estimated hourly rate of $14.42 will only DROP.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
I'm also waiting to hear from. southeastern freight for there driver trainee program can't find there on website

Their, there, they're. Quit butchering the English language. <- see what I did there? I ended the sentence with a period.
It kills me I work along side others that can't write or read. These companies really need to have higher standards.
