Why a 2014 and not a 16 Freightshaker? Do you get to choose between a Prostar?

Just going off of what I've been told. You know how that goes.

    ETA.... Congratulations!

The reality is that as a company driver, you get what is available on the day that you show up to get a truck.

When I was in a lightweight I didn't have a passenger seat. My dorm fridge sat there. Had a microwave, CB, electric skillet, George Foreman and all the necessary accoutrements to cook most of my meals in my truck. If you aren't planning on having a rider, get rid of the passenger seat. You will need that space to make it livable.

Is it possible for a company guy to get the cbt's done early maybe use the wifi and a laptop to stay up late after the computer lab closes. Then take the shuttle over to leasing and tell them your ready for a truck early. So as to beat everyone else and get 1st pick of available trucks? I did this when I went lease and it worked.

I think my rate is $0.44 right now in a lightweight. Additional pay for fuel bonus and safety bonus is added weekly and monthly respectively.

    darthanubis Thanks this.

I'm in a lightweight 14 Freightliner. It was assigned to me when I went to the truck office.

I like it so far. With the passenger seat out it's not bad at all. I don't have a fridge yet.

    NavigatorWife and darthanubis Thank this.

Back in SpringMO after my truck decided it needed a ReGen about 40 miles from here. Road Assist told me to come back. Now I'm sitting here until tomorrow probably.

EDIT: Tomorrow meaning later Saturday. I forgot what time it was! LOL
