Question about using a trickle-charger while truck is parked (aka home time)

I use one all the time when I am sitting for an extended time. I use a smart charge which will charge at different rates depending on how low the batteries are.

 

What make and model. I doubt that a trickle charger can keep up with what your using even just sitting.

 

I got mine at Ace hardware its one of their own branding ones. 2 to 25 amp charge and 50 amp boost. Tied it right in and its bolted to the inside of the jockey box. Plug my truck in to shore power and batteries get fed. If your really handy just get a 12volt alternator, and a lawnmower motor and make yourself a redneck apu.
