The driver does do what they want when they get the truck.
The company protects itself. The driver can then unprotected out expose himself to greater risk of they so choose.

I could run 62 and you could wait for the 63-65 trucks to pass me. 58-59 isn't so bad is it?

Can't you tell. We are perfect and stupid, and a noob!
All I did was correct bs. The trucks are not governed at 59 for L/Os. There are reasons for them being that way and it can be changed by the lease operator. You don't have to have any experience driving to know this. -

I think the main reason that they govern ALL the trucks at 63/64 is that they are interchangeable trucks between the L/O side and the company driver side. Less work to keep them all pretty much standard, the full size condo I had was neutered at 64 and had been a L/O truck before I climbed into it.
As far as the speed goes, I don't know if I would want alot of those new drivers hitting 70 MPH in one of them. Bad enough that we have CR England out there lolNavigatorWife, pattyj and darthanubis Thank this. -

Why are you defending prime? Your not the owner. You didn't make the decision to govern any truck. So you defending someone else's decision of what they do with their truck is silly. -
