if his company operates a fleet of any size, this will be the least thing their insurance looks at.
you're trying to make this into some terrible failure and no one else thinks this is a big deal..

I will, and have, my reviews are good, my job is good, my life is good, all is good.
My life did not end the last time I got an IR with an OOS on it. Neither did my career.... Strange how it works when one works for a reasonable company -
then you and i work for good companies, some don't. but do not be fooled, your company has a "cut off point" for points accrued by a driver.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

I got the points expunged.
Legal shield was so thirsty for a battle that they called me 2:30 in the morning the next day. I called the general court, head clerk answered; I said I got my attorney on the other line and I want to contest the possible CSA points.
Head clerk said: "CSA? Points? Whats the citation number?"
Me: "There was no citation number"
Head clerk: "Then why are you calling?"
Long story short, after the call I went in person to the general court a long with a complaint letter written from my attorney. Head clerk has the power to drop tickets and other bullsh...
---
Prior to the day that I went in person. I didn't receive any calls from safety or dispatcher. Customer service called me why I need to go to court, and I told them the reason. They said "ah ok, well when your done go pick up this load going to the port of L.A, its gotta be there by blah blah blah".
A couple hours later I got a call from cust service again "Why you stopping?"
Me: "Im filling up the ref tank!"
Cust service: "ah okay".
Don't worry be happy- Bob MarleyNavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Oh, this shows you have no idea what CSA points are. The court system and the clerk have absolutely NOTHING to do with the CSA points. You and the company still have the points listed in the Safety Management System of the FMSCA. Inspection report was written, and the points were entered, even if there is no citation numbers.G.Anthony Thanks this.

You cannot get "CSA Points" expunged unless you were issued a ticket with the violation. Once issued a ticket, you can go to court and if it gets either A) DISMISSED or B) AMENDED then your CSA violation either gets removed completely (if dimissed) or amended to a 1 point violation x 3 years so 3 points instead of your original "CSA" points" which is 15 for Failure to obey traffic control device.
and......................this is only done once you contest the ticket and go to DATAQ.
So yes.. this CSA violation is stuck on you for the next 3 years and your companys record for 2 years.G.Anthony Thanks this. -

I will give you a hint, you can get a copy every year for free. Again virginia law has NOTHING to do with the SMS or FMSCA.
