That is an advertorial paid for by a law firm, not any sort of regulatory investigation.

yes....you may have seen not just one but more than (3) of those advertisement type ads......I (and a large volume of drivers) contacted our benefits administrator and they are advising to us to stand by because this in their words "was not a done deal, based on a pending investigation"......after all, 3 billion for all (4) parts of Con-way Inc is a bit low...no??

    Big Don Thanks this.

Thanks for the clarification XFM. I was just wondering where you got your information. Of COURSE this is a time to just stand by. Nobody should make a decision based on sketchy information and rumors! Sure everybody is nervous right now, that is just normal.

Have you seen any ads about what Jacobsen pays drivers? The adds around here for Local drivers are paying I think $16.00 an hour to start... Pitiful

Im sure xpo will change a lot of conways management and industry roles and how they do business. How they hire drivers, PAY, will probably be a max of $60.000 a year and a lot of stress on the drivers. Pay increases will be always at the minimum and slow. Much more CORPRATE, you will be a number no matter what. They are moveing slowly and takeing over quickly, now their at number2, from 12 biggest trucking companies. Now all they need is Schneider. GAME OVER. they will change the trucking business guarantee ya. They are the monkey wrench in the trucking business, and smart. they will make it impossible 4 a lot to choose who to work 4, because it all comes down to whos the biggest and the best. If Conway took 3 billion, Schneider would probably take 5 billion or 6. This is a major consortium here they got money.

Yeah I heard that $16.00 an hour, and they don't take student driver grads.

If you buy an ltl company and start changing lanes , wouldn't you make the route shorter for drivers, LESS PAY? If you own more than 1 ltl company you connect all the dots and what you get is less pay, not the best health care coverage, and you make a mistake wether its your fault or not, YOUR FIRED. Hire another knucklehead. They know what their doing.
