IN CAB CAMERAS

The company I'm driving for is using radar systems for many years now - for safety reasons. They might have done some good at some point.
But at the same time they're using the recoded data against the driver. Warnings, suspensions, governing the truck at 55 mph and terminations are the result.
The same is going to happen with those cameras.
But as long as rhe drivers give them a reason for it, they will install them. It's up to the drivers, simply stay focused on what you're supposed to do DRIVING.

 

Look at this thread. Some of those drivers were passing in those conditions seconds before impact.

 

The Boiled Frog Phenomenon:

Basically anything involving big business and government.

 

I'm all for outside facing camera's. Hell i have my own dash cam to protect my asset and the company's asset. I don't want one inside

 

Every time this subject comes up the opposition seems to be less.

Personally I would be finding another job.

Of course I wouldn't be asking what to do. If you need to ask...

There's many threads about this subject and each time it comes up there seem to be more defending the idea of having a cam pointed at them. Not sure what to make of that.

 

That's what I did when the company wanted to put e-logs in my truck. Would do it 10x as fast over "driver-facing" cameras.
