There is no legal issues with installing it, you are driving a van which has no sleeper regs applied to it. It is what ever you like but ...

the problem is with the company you sign on with, they may require a minimal amount of space which means the sleeper itself may end up being a bed and nothing more.

Having a sleeper causes you to loose a skid spot. Many compsnies want to bump you down to a van rate instead of a sprinter rate.

Most expeditors require at least 8 feet of cargo space in a van. If he get's an extended Sprinter it won't be an issue. Plus most expedite freight is only one pallet or two tops.

What's your idea of a good car, Hyundai?

I more than realize that, he was asking how does Mercedes-Benz stay in business. What crap have they made according to you? You see MBs from the mid 80's still on the road being driven as daily drivers. Show me a daily driver jap car from 1985.

They've made a lot of crap in the past, just because they have some sort of status doesn't mean they are all good.

By the way, I don't see too many of them from the 70's through the 90's, the most I've seen gathered are the ones in a near by junk yard. They tend to rust like anything else. I think they need a certain level of quality care, most of which never get it because their owners use them like they are American cars - put gas in them and go.

Could a 6'2 person sleep comfortable in a sprinter sleeper? I'm currently an otr driver tractor/trlr. Have been considering expediting solo, but my wife said she would drive a van. So team possible if we went that route.

Did not even know sleeper sprinters existed. How much money can someone make driving one?

That van is sweet. I'd put a surfs up sticker on it and mount a surf board on top. Then I'd get my numbers on a magnet I could take off once loaded. Then I'd throw the log book out the window. They'd never catch me.
