when i started working (4 years ago November) at my current employer, it took me about a month, to get up to speed, so i could beat my co-worker, and go home earlier.

once you learn the stops locations, you may only have your GPS on for conversation. once you learn and have it down on how to unload fast enough to be done, you will make any talking to the staff to a minimum.

once you learn how to do your job quicker, you can either return to your starting point sooner, or take a nap.

i prefer taking a nap, and returning sooner myself, a feat, you will also learn....

Let me get this straight. You'd rather drive a FL over a KW or Pete? AND you like Werner? Oh man I must be dreaming

JUst joking with you. Werner is not the worst and you are making it work. Good job keep it up

The FL manuvers way better and has better visibility lines then paccar. The account I'm on, i need that extra visibility and manuvering capability. A lot of the paccars with new drivers are roughed up. I'd willing to take a guess that visibility plays a role in that. Lol
As far as liking Werner, maybe just maybe they're actually trying to clean up their pr with drivers. Maybe.

I worked for Werner for a bit on both the Dollar General and Family Dollar accounts. Hard work, but decent money. I figure it's putting in your time. I struggled to eat working for PAM, so it was a definite improvement, but I'm almost 40 years old and unloading trailers wasn't working for me. There's easier ways to make decent money is my point, but you could do much, much worse.
