Who cares about driver appreciation week? Why do I want to classified in the same group as the fat, nasty, no showering, no washing hands after potty break, cursing, 3rd grade education, no driving, bright light shining at night, fog light running lazy truck drivers?

To put everyone in the same category for a whole week, and give me a free hot dog, because people are to sad to reconize each driver separately and saying thank you personally, is a flat out joke.

 

Correction....Princesses are special EVERYDAY of the week lol Can I get a shout out for a National Holiday! ps- if people think or try to convince you that you are not special then you never will be. Break the old mould. I demand appreciation every day 365 days a year/7 days a week. By appreciation, I mean through mutual trust, respect and you treat me like you yourself would like to be treated like. That's the expectations I have when entering an account. If not, someone else can deliver an @$$holes load.

 

Answer to the OP's question: Because if you had two Driver Appreciation weeks they'd be as phony and meaningless as one week. And dispatchers would be crying for their own appreciation week. I guess they could cook their own hot dogs.

You must be single. I appreciate my trucker everytime I see him. Sometimes, 2 or 3 times a night if he does a really good job.
