Why 4 specific truck stops? Just start pay attention after first FJ in Cheyenne.
BTW next day I have fuel from Love's. Guess what? Fuel was cold.
One more thing. Over ten years I have to drive fuel tanker delivering fuels from refineries to the customers. I know exactly how much temperature will rise during the trip time to load max safe volume and never was loaded with fuel temperature above 87 degree from refinery. It was a hot summer day in LV, NV refinery.‘Olhand Thanks this. -
There's a few with above ground tanks Pilot in Ontario, OR is one off the top of my head...Sneakerfix Thanks this.

I can't imagine they'd be making money that way. The amount of energy required to heat the volume of fuel in the storage tank likely outweighs the profit gain from selling the expanded volume of fuel.DocMarten, Skate-Board, icsheeple and 1 other person Thank this.

There is a Pilot and a Loves at exit 9 on I-40 in Arizona. Both use above ground tanks. Pilots tanks are black and in full sun. Loves are a very light tan and used to have a shade structure. Pilot fuel is quite a bit warmer year round, and #### hot in the summer at this location.
windsmith Thanks this. -
I'm agree with you. Just asking. Have my IR thermometer working now will report temperature on my way back. Curiosity isn't a bad habit/KAK Thanks this.
