I worked for Watkins Motor Lines before the sons got greedy and sold it to Fedex. It was the best place I've ever worked. It's owned by the same children of Mr. Bill Watkins. Don't know anything about the lease purchase. They do own a bunch of companies also. Let us know how it goes.

Equity trans out of walker Michigan has a lease no money down and payments around 2/300 a week. .15 cpm bumper to bumper maintenance program not an escrow account. So if your motor goes then you get a new one or a rebuild. pre emission freightliner classic, classic xl, columbia. All glider kits. Watch your fuel and you can do $1200-$1800 depending on how determined you are to make money. I did its been great this is by far the best company I've worked for.

I have a thread dedicated to my experience thus far. How long have you been doing your lease for? I'm at the 19 month mark now.
I think I signed on at the right time. It was just after Mike took over as GM and started cleaning house.
My weekly fixed cost is $400

I do not use any apps or gizmos for fuel mileage.
A pm is an option for you after 10 posts I think?
You can't PM me because I mentioned who I worked for and my truck number in a PM once and they barred me from using it ever again because it looked like I was recruiting.
Are you going to stick with them after it's paid off?
I think you get a bump up to $1.16 mile and no maint deduction

Yea I plan on it. For being leased to a carrier they have a pretty good rate. That app is just a way to keep all your fuel ups and partials inline and it gives you an auto instant,30,90 and, lifetime average mine is at 7.77 for my 30 day. That's not the people net lol it's actual gallons to miles. How's your mpg?

About the same. I tend to idle too much though
