I'm running a new frieghtliner cascadia 10speed.
All the gears are good except for one....
When I flip my selector, and go from 5th to 6th, it'll go into gear... But my trucks in neutral still?
I take it out of gear, and put it back into 6th, and it'll catch finally.
This happens maybe 1 out of 5 times. Anyone know what's going on?
Thats not 6th gear...

Splitter valve sticking?
-
That's what I was wondering. I flick my selector as I take it out of fifth and immediately have it at the door of 6th. Probably not giving it enough time to engage. Nothings sticking. But I figured if it was me doing it too fast the truck would assume I meant for 1st gear. It doesn't rev up hard on me when it happens tho. Just neutral.

Sounds like you're catching it on the split. Try being less aggressive.

On this eaton 10, her 6th is tight, you have to pre-select upper and then jam it in quick or she looses interest.
truckon, Cottonmouth85 and Straight Stacks Thank this. -
Lol
You can't just jam it in. They don't appreciate that. You need to be gentle when you put it in'er six holem -
Pullin2 Thanks this.
