I can't argue with CV about it because there is an abundance of "new Canadian" trucks and most of them have 2 and sometimes 3 people in the truck. I saw one truck pull into a truck stop and 4 guys jumped out with their shower bags. It was like watching a clown car at the circus....wondering if they were ever gonna stop hopping out. Lol.
The other thing I've noticed is the quality of some of the trucks and trailers on the road. Not all "New" Canadians either. But when your truck looks like it's been duct taped to keep it from falling apart....I assume they're not paying a lot for maintenance. So, less maintenance means they can run cheap I guess.CanadianVaquero Thanks this. -
I've seen them, and again not just new Canadians, with tarp straps holding various body parts on. Went to an interview and the dipstick was a stick. Like, from a tree. Should have gotten a pic..

Guys, truckstop just had a report couple of weeks ago, van freight is down 43% compare to last year and flat bed is down 60%. Its just the way the economy is right now.
If you saw some ran down trucks driven by foreigners, does not mean they made a huge impact on the freight availability.
Last 3 years was good, now its going down and hopefully after elections it will go up againFloridian379 Thanks this. -
