Death has knocked on my door so many times that I stopped answering.
Care more about living an entertaining life than I do a long life

He was something else. Knew all the forest roads in southern Colorado by heart. Came in handy when he started his propane delivery business. Had to go rescue a few greenhorn drivers who got themselves lost, lol!

I get that once in a while with my '05 Vision, made apparent when the engine speed drops back down to idle while supposedly in 6th gear. Blipping the fuel pedal to get the engine speed back up to driveline speed fixes it.

I would just blip the driveline but it wasnt too smooth. I figured out I was not lettimg off the right foot enough. Too much of a hurry to get er jammed in there...

When I lived in BC (thats in Canuckistan) I hunted and "wheeled" (off road) a lot on the Forest Service Roads. Always kept our cb on, hear a truck call loaded get the hell outta the road. Forgot it once and almost died I tells ya..

When I drove a 13 for the first time, I kept trying to put it in "6th" gear.

Believe it or not, I read the shift pattern decal instructions. They say to preselect range shifts. I do, and I never have this problem.

This happened to a 660 I drove. Shifted from 5 to 6, didn't catch, had to rev it for it to catch. This happened sometimes, but often enough to had gotten used to it.

Just rev it if neutral. Problem solved..
