I do yearly pysical and pay myself. I usually only pay $50 to $65. It depends on where I go in Georgia.

 

Is that in addition to the physical required for your medical card or do you only get your card for one year?

 

In Georgia the clinics I go to only charge $55 to $65.
I only can get 1 year dot physical because of blood pressure and diabetic.

 

i personally would go yearly myself, and still of course get the 2 year card. i get a "regular physical" for free from my insurance, and my primary doctor used to do it. now he retired, and he stopped doing DOT's a few years ago, so I have been going at 2 year intervals.

you can get a DOT physical anytime you want. to me, another reason why i went yearly, was ":just in case" i forgot to get it done, i was covered. but now, as you know, we have to either fax, or go in person to the DMV and have them scan it as proof of a current one. The DMV cares not, how many times one goes. but as a matter of CYA, you then still need to inform the DMV, or the last one will expire, and you're sunk.
