Long live the King ...

My dream truck would be a 389 glider with a NXS or MXS Cat ACERT (twin turbo)slightly modified of course. 6NZ's are good (out of the box)
-
I know a guy that has one. He's had problems with it. Bolts would snap off the manifold.

If your talking exhaust manifold, arp makes a stud kit that should be better than stock.icsheeple Thanks this.
-
the perfect one would be a bxs acert de-certed with low comp pistons and single turbo. but not allowed to speak of such things any more.
dustinbrock and Cat sdp Thank this. -
Problem with the 2 turbo setup is the first one feeds hot air (you can't compress air without heating it up) into the second. My old boss had all kinds of turbo troubles, but he was a die-hard Cat man anyway.

Well we have a 2008 389 with the twins it has allot of power you really have to be careful driving it because it can actually brake traction in every gear and it has a 18 with 3.36 and over 550 hp to the ground
