When I was a SWIFTY I had a thermos and filled it up if it looked like I would be staying the night in the country....

That may be the way to go, if I can find one that would keep it hot long enough.

I'm in Salt Lake City after delivering a load to Costco.
They don't release empties, so I'm bobtail.

    They sent 3 pplans.
The first was to pick up an mt, the second a deadhead to ID and the third a load to WI.

I don't have the hours to make an on time delivery to WI, so I let them expire.
Then my PTA was reset to midnight, which I promptly changed to tomorrow at 0600. I hate these games.
The first 2 pplans were resent with a note saying getting it tomorrow morning would be fine.
Now I'm wondering about that load to WI, as it would get me close to my home time - a few days late, though.
I had a long conversation with one of my DM's during the first round, and he was going to contact CSR to see if the load could be delivered on the afternoon of the 24th instead of the morning of the 23rd to accommodate my hours. No word on that yet.
So my home time on the 22nd is out now, and I'm just waiting to see how it pans out.

Other than that, it's been a pretty good day.

The Gold Strike. I remember today why I hate I-70 from Green River, UT to Salina, UT. Topped off my fuel at the new Love's there and happy that I did after seeing the price of fuel when I got on I-15

Moose , get one of those immersion heaters they sell at the truck stops so you can get your coffee the day before and reheat it in the morning . Be sure to unplug before you pull it out of whatever liquid you're heating or it will fry in a few seconds.

I've gotten so used to cold coffee in the morning that I just don't care for hot anymore and caffeine works the same at any temperature .

Well dang ... ran my hours out again ... Taking another 34.

For coffee, I use my MW and use the instant Starbuck tubes. That's only when I'm in the dirt ... otherwise I just buy a cup in the TS.
