MBM (meadow brook meats) based out of NC. They deliver to the restaraunts.
Driver unloads. Work 4 days or 5. Then you are off like 2 or 3 days.
Job for young guys in good shape.

Getting off you behind and exercising does have it's benefits. But I would rather put in a good pair of running shoes and go run/walk for at least 20 minutes. It will do the same but without the back pain.

As far as soda companies, winter is upon us so that means not as many runs which means that they don't need as many drivers.

    herring22 and Milkman719 Thank this.

Don't take this the wrong way, but are you overweight? If you're in decent shape you really shouldn't have those problems at your age. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule- which you very well may be one of those, I truly do NOT know- but a little hard work for a young man shouldn't cause you any lingering issues.

    Not at all. I'm 6' 1" and 180 lbs.

Although, I do have a feeling that my youth may have a surprising amount to do with it. I played soccer for 2 years from age 6 - 8, rode BMX for 3 years from age 8 - 11, did Tae Kwon Do for several years from age 12 - 16, and I also skated from age 11 up until 19. Ever watch the X-Games? I tried out for that the first year or two it was around since I wanted to be in the street skate competition. Never did make it out of regionals, but my body did take a lot of serious punishment. In high school, I started up a roller hockey team and played in that as well as at the local YMCA which also had a roller hockey program. Of course, there were the summers where I would intentionally jump off the roof of our house, out of trees, and pretty much anywhere high. As I found out later in life, that wasn't very good on my knees or my back. Since most of my sports were mostly "leg based" I've basically destroyed a lot of cartilage, the synovial sacs and associated fluid, and dinged up the actual bones in my knees pretty good. Last time I saw my doctor about it, she told me I have the knees of a 70 year-old. In all fairness, I had a blast while I was destroying my body - I just have to pay for it now. ;)

Reason for edit: Edited as I remember more crap I did as a kid.

Food service, I'm sure one of the smaller guys will take rookies. Most won't because you're going into really tight spots, shopping centers, etc. It's not uncommon for me to blindsight off major busy streets 3 or 4 times a day during morning rush hour into driveways not meant for tractor trailers

I personally prefer it though when it only consists of "pull and park" with a pallet jack. :)

You'd think that's what we have all these junior drivers for, but alas, it doesn't work that way. :)
