I have now sent of my medical records to Prime twice. Each time with a new note from my doctor.
The first time my Dr stated that I had been off the meds and was stable when I had my visit with her.
This wasn't good enough. I had to talk with my Dr again and have her list the exact meds that wasn't taking anymore and if I was stable of them.
This process is getting to be a bit ridiculous, IMO. I feel like everyone is just trying to pass the buck. It seems as I would be better off applying to another company. Hopefully I will hear something Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully it will be good news.
If this falls through I guess I will look into getting my Class A from a school. -
I did concrete to be home daily and got out because daily was very little. I was making great money working 90 hour weeks. Now I drive TL and get home weekly with Averitt. I get more home time with my family than I did then and money is not great but very good.

I have no family at home, and want to go OTR. Cement hauling is good to pay the bills until I find my place in the OTR world.
Averitt is a company I would like to drive for eventually. They have a nice terminal about 20 miles from my house. -
I have been to the N. Little Rock SVC a few times. Which SVC are you near? I generally run the northern area and alot around Atlanta and the mountains.

Oh Averitt accepts new grads but not from every school. I would call them and ask them about that end of it.

Honestly I had thought about Maverick first if I go through a school.
TMC has accepted me already but I'm holding out to see what happens with Prime. -
I had a friend that worked with TMC. If you choose % you haul long cheep loads. If you choose miles you get short expensive loads. Also I know Averitt flatbed is hiring but not sure on the details of them. Also if I remember correctly a Averitt driver came from Maverick to Averitt not sure which one off the top of my head.

I do think TMC has sweet looking trucks but they are the second slowest ones on the road.

This is why I'm so set on Prime. They have slow trucks but pay good CPM.
TMC does have sweet looking trucks. Really I know that I'll have to pay my dues before I move on to better pay and faster trucks. I've been trying to get into OTR trucking for 3 months and it's harder to get started than I thought.
Hopefully my persistence will pay off.
