    Do you own a house?

Take out a second mortgage,.. done.
You can always live in the truck. It will be paid for.

When I was looking to buy my first year, freightliner wouldn't finance me because I haven't been otr for 3 years minimum. Apparently money comes second there.

Also good credit doesn't mean much if it doesn't have a history to back it up.

So for this situation is recommend mountain truck leasing. Their only catch is, is that they want direct withdraw from your bank account monthly.

I was offered that option of taking a second mortgage. I passed. Id rather go into a walk away lease without being financially strapped if i fail. Just doesn't make sense in an industry that is so volatile with so many fluctuations, why put that financial burden on yourself as well?
