I'll be running Utah, Texas and Miami runs. Dedicated pays less. OTR with those runs pays a bit better. As for Hometime, my GF still needs that for the next year till her Daughter goes off to College. We'll stay out two weeks and get 48hrs resets every other weekend. I already worked that out with the Uppers. If they Welch on the deal, I'll have no quirms on leaving to my backup company.

I use to run Utah and Texas a bit til they made them Team runs. Not a bad gig til Winter hits. Then it'll be arguments with Dispatch why we shut down due to weather. We're Southern folks and dont play in Snow to well. Lol!

No way I would run that in the winter...Christ that is like asking to get in an accident. Got a taste of it back in even May on the mountains. Team dedicated can pay better than OTR if one gets with the right company. There are a few local to Dayton companies that have had them and starting them back up here in about a month. Mostly automotive which is great to haul...again depending on company.

    You OTR guys are crazy...
But I gotta hand it to you, some drivers it just gets in their blood
That's just the way it is I guess
I might come back out on the road again someday when the kids are old enough and I'm too old to push&hump frt around the wagon and get in & out of the truck
... But I won't be on a mission it'll be more of a retirement thing

That is exactly my plan too. May be sooner than later too. We're playing the stupid game here lately.

... Thought you had some inside pull on the company
.... Have that dispatch explain to the DM why he thinks he doesn't have to be involved alittle more with operations
Or Maybe he just doesn't like you much & thinks you're a company butt surfer or something like that. .. Let me ask you this:
" who is the more mature one in this situation.... You or your dispatcher?
