Starting training 8-24

Talked to my recruiter again today. They have contacted the medical at Trinity to see what is going on. I know they can't discuss medical issues with them. I'm just hoping for someone to be on my side right now.
I would have never thought it would be this tough. Not giving up though.

On the other side I poured about 55 yards of cement today. I never want to see another chicken house as long as I live.

 

Man I wish I was making 70 K. I'll be lucky to make half that.
Right now I'm working about 60 hours a week and bringing home about $650 a week.

 

Thanks guys. That means a lot. I've wanted to drive OTR for years now. I'm not giving up.

 

We'll still no word from Prime today. I keep saying maybe tomorrow, maybe tomorrow. It seems like tomorrow will never come.
On the flip side I got the ok from another company that looks very good to me. Nice equipment, no driver cameras, pretty decent pay. That's right I'm going to Steven's!!!

Just kidding. I won't say who yet but I'm excited about them. Just want to see if Prime comes through in the next day or two. If not onto new things.

Well here is my picture of work today. Pouring sidewalks in an apartment complex sure can be right sometimes.

 

Still haven't heard anything back from medical. They have to clear me before I can come back.
Since leaving I have gotten all my doctors notes, stop taking the meds, and passed another DOT physical for another company.
I know they are busy. Hopefully I hear something soon.
I really wanted to drive tanker. The other company doesn't have tanker division.

 

I wish you the best. Prime is full of good people. I just got caught in a crack.
The classes are huge so be prepared to be a face in the crowd. Hit the CBTs fast and make sure you have all your paperwork squared away.
