Walmart here I come!

hey jtgordon, he is going to woodland today at 8am he will be the one wearing in green polo and khakis (name is Dave if you see him there) anyway I am on pins and needles more than he is. i hope he makes it because his new job that he just took 2weeks ago, has not given him a run yet. Supposed to be last monday that is why we weren't sure if he was able to make it on today's test. i always thought of it as God's will into steering him on the right direction. anyway don't wanna jinx it, i need to pray some more. how many does woodland need? thanks

 

ok i just jinx it. just an update he was not able to do the pre trip /roadtest, he had to wait 3 hours and was finally told there has been a mistake you did not qualify.he was pissed because he talk to hr yesterday to confirm about the schedule and time.
they just told him sorry for the inconvenience. when the girl (charlene walmart hr) first called him to schedule him he told her if there was a mistake or something because they denied him in the phone interview and my husband really told them about it( he had a an accident scratch the side of the truck because the barrier was hit before and was not put back in place , he was the 3rd one that hit it and funny enough cop said 2nd guy just left the scene1hr before you hit it) and she said they told me to schedule you for a pre trip and roadtest.. poor hubby.we will try again.

 

Not sure that i understood what you said there, but, It may be they considered the accident non-preventable at first and then decided it was preventable. Just a thought.

 

Yeah i think that what it was so they are sticking to the phone interview decision to reapply for 2017. On the other hand, he finally got his run hauling mail again. So for now we will wait and try again. Had to give up my job for florida for now until he gets situated for a transfer, Walmart would have been the perfect avenue for him. Oh well by that time baby would be old enough, house hopefully sold or rented out and finally we can move. Thank you for all your help guys and keep the thread alive. God bless drive safe

 

Wow! There are only 3 DC's open for applications. Fingers crossed, Tobyhanna stays open for another 15 days so my DH can reapply.

Actually there is 4 locations as of today, including the one you are most interested in, Smyrna, DE.

 

I just saw that! Excited but he still can't apply until the 11th. We are hoping the posting stays up for two weeks! Say some prayers please!
