Even if you forgot, didn't your fuel cap have a chain and t- bar attached to it so you don't lose it?
A new fuel cap should cost anywhere from $25-$35 depending on where you source it from.Gilbert24 Thanks this. -

2009 model, wasn't taken care of that well and yeah nothing to hold the caps onto the tank

Lol, what's it matter. You now need a new cap and are going to pay whatever.

I did a little search on the net, and a standard 3" cap for International , Mack , and Volvo is around $40 at 4StateTrucks.com.

I know the OP said he forgot to put it back on. But just maybe he has forgotten that he put it back on, and someone else relieved him of it?

#### for my ole 95 intl coe they are over $100.00 from the dealer. or 5 bucks from local salvage yard. check e-bay
