I understand this thread IS outdated....but just to let drivers know, EPES IS a great company to START YOUR CAREER AT! Yes, you'll be home weekly, you'll average around 2000-2300 miles a week. There's actually NOTHING wrong with that! But, once you put a few(2-3 years, if you're smart and want your resume to look good....even though I know alot of people jump ship after 1 year) years, MOVE ON! EPES has become a starter company! They are better than your typical 'bottom feeder' companies, and you'll have a better company on your resume. I had a guy give me a 'lift' from Greensboro, NC to Plainsfield, IN back in July(truck broke down, stayed in hotel for 3 days got 'rescued'(NO FUN) and then 2 weeks later recovered my truck!). He started with USA Truck...was there for 4 years. He has been here for right over 3 years, stays out for 2 whole weeks(NO WIFE AND KIDS, I have a wife and 2 little ones at home!) and is around late 50's, as I'm almost 40.....was happy that he cleared right over 49K last year! hmmmmmmmmmmm, things that make ya wonder!lol
