    After a simple tune & peak I am getting 15-20 miles in the Mountains in rain. Running a Cobra LED model, Predator 10-k with dipole which I was asked several times over the cb about and a top astatic mic. I am contemplating in bumping up a couple notches hear. Right now I have a great SWR and getting out 20 watts.

    Some of the guys out here have a signal that can go across states. Of course those are illegal and they're probably frying their brain everytine they hit their transmit button. You hear them in the west a lot.
