Focus more on the miles then the cents per mile unless your doing foodservice. Have you looked into maverick or Schneider

Maverick i have yes, i am on a waiting list for their new Newbie program
I haven't really looked at Schneider, just kept seeing bad stuff about them here,
the 750 gross was what the recruiter quoted me for the miles i would be driving in the regional position they have available where i live -
Have to take the good and the bad every company will have bad things said about them at one point by someone who wasn't happy or just didn't like it
-
Actually might be able to have Schneider sponsor me through Keystone Diesel, school bout hour away from me. Just wasn't sure bout Schneider.
Also waiting to here back from couple other places, Got a free offer for Class B CDL/job i am thinking bout taking. -
This is sort of off topic, but I worked for Werner. They weren't so bad that I'd feel like I had to warn anyone about getting a job with them. Fresh out of school, Werner would be fine for your foot in the door type gig. If you can find someone in school to run team with you can even make pretty decent money with them.
Me and my friend ran the Toro account and netted on average about 1,100 a week. I'm not saying you couldn't do better, I'm just saying you could do a lot worseSneakerfix and SHOJim Thank this. -
Ya i really don't care to run teams, nor do i wanna be locked down in a contract. Always prefer to not put myself in a position i cannot easily walk away from.

are walmart dedicated or regionals good? Schneider actually has one available close to me and pay looks more than fair
-
What are the miles not the Cpm
If I was going Schneider I would go bulk. -
Werner has solo, and even if you had a contract (I did at PAM, I left for Werner because PAM would not hire my team mate). I was under a 1 year contract with PAM, I walked away. I just payed the cost of my CDL school out of pocket and Werner gave me tuition reimbursement.
I'm just saying that you can't have the peach without the pit. The pit is in there somewhere. Virtually all of the big schools are owned in part by a larger trucking company, it's how everyone stays in business. And if they aren't owned by, they contract with. -
Yes well either way I do not want to run with Werner as so long as I have a choice that is the one I will continue to make.
