I plan on having a fully equipped tool box with me. And a parts warehouse on board. And A bolted down crock pot with pot roast , taters and carrots, on call.

Does anybody know monthly prices of DAT plans?
Is something different when company has more trucks? Or more people that have access to DAT?

Truckersedge is DAT. Same exact loadboard. Best bang for your buck is truckersedge a little over $30 a month if you are a member if OOIDA. It's a much better loadboard than ITS. Routinely has 100-150 more loads in the same 100 mile radius of me as ITS. Loads post to DAT several minutes before ITS. ITS did away with automatic refresh feature unless you want to pay big bucks. Probably going to ditch ITS after new years.

You need a MSA I have one with Tyson, Hersheys, Welches, etc. You call them up and ask for an application send it in and 99% of the time they approve you. Its very helpful especially when you go into an area with ####ty freight it eases the burden trying to get out.

As a company driver when the company I drive for was still new they did Cheap and Heavy Robinson loads when they couldnt find anything in my area. The loads were always heavy as hell but they were always going to interesting places. Like I went to pick up magazines and deliver downtown into a nice skyscraper. They opened some huge doors and I backed inside.
