Alberta is in trouble.

Please explain how a group of people that cannot vote affected the vote. The reason for the outcome in Alberta's election is simple. The intolerable arrogance of Redford was succeeded by more arrogance in Prentice (calling the election early when it was CLEAR that Albertans didn't want it) culminated in voter backlash where Albertans were seeking to "teach the PC's not to take them for granted" by returning a minority PC govt and overshot the runway by a wide margin. It's my belief that if Smith and her little band of traitors didn't cross the floor, we would be experiencing a Wildrose government today.

 

I agree, this recession would have happened regardless if the NDP won or not. However, based on the past performance of the NDP in other provinces, I believe this was the worst choice Albertans could have made under the circumstances.

 

Hands down some of the worst drivers in the world.

Having lived in BC and AB (as well as observing drivers from other provinces) I'd disagree. Based on my personal observations I'd say Ontario and BC have the worst drivers.

I also don't see how this is relevant to the conversation at hand.

 

Probably is not relevant in any way but I just see the word Canada and it stirs all kinds of angry thoughts I had just got back and once again barely escaped with my truck in one piece why a car would pull in front of me then stand on their brakes to make a turn when I have 65k of steel on the deck is just baffling to me but I will stop my ramblings.

 

Jerezxp7, stupidity, knows no nationality. We all see it everyday.
People who don't get the blinker option on their cars when they buy it.
People who change multiple lanes without looking.
people who for some reason can't merge into traffic without causing a multi-vehicle accident (or very nearly).

 

That is all true I guess what I see the big difference is in new York or the bay area there is millions of people on top of one another so a car that needs to cut close in front of me or can't get over is obvious but in Canada the drivers can have two lanes clear next to them without a car in sight and miles clear in front and behind them they simply do not care they drive like there's no space when there is vast they don't care, but I will say no more on this issue
