OTR dress code

I dress nice and shower everyday without exception. I am a professional and I'm paid very well. I despise about 75% of every truck driver that walks the face this earth that make us look like slobs. I have never been mistreated, or harassed by customers, Dot Officers, police,

I second that one.

 

Unless the company you're employed at requires a dress code then nver half the trucking population wears clothes that look like they got out of the dumpster.Holey greasy covered in dirt.I prefer fitting the professional image.

 

Apparently flip flops, track pants and tank tops also slicked back hair

I always tried to wear clean clothes. Most of the time it was jeans and a pullover shirt. I always tried to get a shower at least every 36 hours. When I could not get to a shower I would slip into a bathroom and try to wash as much as I could out of a sink. I remember doing this at the Walmart DC in Henderson NC. In my mind there is no reason so many truckers are slobs. Its not just what they wear and how they smell. Try getting into a tractor after some of these guys.

 

Please, please shave that shoulder, back hair

Get on youtube, many have done videos on truck stop showers,

 

please start doing this every day. you would make my day if I saw you getting out of youre truck in a truckstop
