Thx I appreciate that don't be scared but maybe just know what u are getting into(I really didn't) might want to not get the new shiny truck it's not worth it! Your payments and lower insurance costs would really help .... Also experince with broker freight booking loads and operating capital would sure help :)

    Justin352 Thanks this.

That's the only way to make it at eagle keep your costs low and your rates to the truck(after Eagles cut) as high as u can you will never make it being the budget low cost hauler!lol you'll make Eagles cut and quality's payments but not for your self.... Here's the equation to think of

    1.80 a mile x.75x 2500 miles\7mpg \ 2.60 fuel -1100 there's your check +\- how ever u can adjust your numbers :)

Yeah I agree, you can stay busy with those low cost loads, but then you have to live off of $100 advances, not good. I would imagine there is a backlog of used trucks now at Quality, and that is the only way to go, book your own loads, that is all I did when I was there.

I think it has more to do with picking your lanes first some just pay better no matter who the broker is I just want a near fair lane rate and if it's a lower paying lane I want it to be spot on or better than the market or average for that lane!
