I finally have a gripe and albeit, it's not a huge one, but it's happened a handful of times now and it's frustrating. When they issue a Comchek for a service that's needed and for some reason can't pay the company directly and have to go through us as middlemen, they take their sweet ### time reimbursing you for the Comchek.

I had to have a tow truck put a booster axle on my trailer and a Comchek was issued. $275, no big deal. Granted this happened on like the 14th of the month and I sent in the paperwork in a timely manner. Got paid for the load on the next check, but why are the reimbursements always delayed? I've noticed multiple times I'll have reimbursements not show until the next check even though that Tripak with the reimbursement was sent in well before the cutoff. Just frustrating to have the advances taken out of your check and then wait for them to appear on your next check.

hey whats up dj, long time, as for your question reimbursements are only looked at a couple times a month so even if you got it in in time it may or may not make it on the next pay period. Anyway, I'm sitting in Gainesville, load next week in OK going to ND.

I really don't have anything bad to say about LST. They've treated me fairly well the ~3 years I've been here. They do like for you to stay out. Even though it's only a mandatory minimum of 3 weeks, they'll press for you to stay out longer. They pay on a level basis, with Level 99 being the lowest, then Level 0 up to Level 5, which are the 4 axle guys. You gain a level as you pull oversize. I forget what the minimums are to haul for each level.

The trucks are maintained immaculately and the trailers can be hit or miss. I've only had 2 breakdowns in 3 years compared to double that when I was in a Freightliner. Honestly, it is what you make of it. If you do your job, don't give your dispatcher headaches and be reasonable, you'll have no problems here. This company isn't for everyone, but then again, what company is? If it weren't that I'm more needed at home than I am out here, I wouldn't be leaving next August, but I'm just about done with trucking all together, otherwise, I'd stay with LST.

Well I just got hired on by LST. Been hauling a reefer for the past year and a half and thought it was time to broaden my experience. I'll be at orientation Monday.

Greetings gentlemen. See things have been quiet here lately, but what the heck, I'll do a little check in.

Scheduled for orientation for 11/7 and looking forward to it. I've got nearly 3 years under my belt with plenty of over width and length as well as 7 months moving ~120k every day. I'm really hoping to move through the ranks and move up to the real big loads.

Been nearly 2 years since I've been with a bigger company. one I'm leaving is 5 trucks and it's going to be a big change. hoping I'll be able to beg my way into one of the 4 axle trucks. I'm going to miss my 13 speed...
