I can whip out a dozen, right off the top of my head. Picking those two, he's probably looking for weekends home. I never cared about that; just lovin' running coast to coast. For flatbed, I like Waggoners and System Transport; no cameras and coast to coast and border to border and beyond!

Yes we know with a hot cup of coffee and xm radio. Maybe give him some local options...cause that's where it's at...union of course...right C-Town?

Where is your location? Maybe someone on this forum is familar with the area and can recommend something with weekends home. Sometimes there's some good jobs out there you may not hear about in school.

    77smartin Thanks this.

Schneider has a dedicated account at Walmart Distribution Center in London, KY
Watkins-Shepard has a terminal with dedicated account in Berea, KY
TMC is probably as good as those.
Depending on where you live in Eastern KY is important because Eastern KY is some hard driving; I've been all over that place and it wore me out. Those ungoverned coal trucks make life hard for a reefer driver.

At Schneider you share a Truck, don't want to do that, never heard of the other one, TMC and Averitt both offered weekends. I'm a 25 year coal miner coming into trucking, trying to learn all I can before I go
