I have been doing it for a long time, 2 stroke oil is meant to be burned, leaving no ashes behind, I don't over do it, I don't treat it like a two stroke O/B motor, for two reasons, one is to keep it reasonable dollar wise and other is to keep carbon as low as possible.
I buy it by the gallon and use a quart per100 gals of diesel more or less, it's only to add a little more lubricity and hopefully protect my very expensive injectors.

Have you checked fuel restriction, under a load? Easier to do on a dyno, but can be done with a restriction gauge with a long hose, and that you can slide under the wiper arm, up against the windshield to be able to see it while driving and under a heavy load/pull.

We have alot of n14s and this problem is an injector. They check out fine pass computer test. You either replace all or wait it out. It bites but common for n14s. See it alot.

A friend of mine had similar issues with his N14. He went through the same hassle with new Injectors, checking harnesses and a lots more. Nothing fixed the problem, the repairs were more or less guesswork. Until he got the proper tip.

There must be some connectors in the cylinderhead which connects the inner and outer harness with each other. The harnesses were tested ok but the connection was the problem. If I remember right each cylinder had such a connector. He spent a few dollars on parts and fixed the problem himself.

I hope the best for you to solve the problem soon.

The connectors that you are describing are called Pass-Through.

Yes, those are known to go bad too.

Yes, we are considering taking the truck to a dyno. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, we have replaced all injectors. The fuel pump is to be checked today...as well as the cups for injectors 5 and 6 which were the last two we had installed. Thanks for the help.
