I agree! Public schools are nothing but a money racket anymore. 1st week of school, he was sent home a fundraiser...2weeks later, pictures. After that, a bake sale. Then school spirit shirts...plus...his school lunches cost me $28.25/week. And school supplies cost me over a hundred bucks. Having to buy teachers grading pens, and markers, plus germ-x, 5 boxes of Kleenex...and stuff for the classroom and for other kids that aren't "well off"...it's ridiculous
I need some advice

I'm glad that you could bring this topic up. I appreciate your simple solution...but I'm not a father or a sperm donor...I'm a daddy...I accept my responsibilities, and choose to raise my son! I'm not gonna ##### out and pay someone else to do it. That may suit some male type persons...but that's not me.
Thanks anyways for the input. -
Someone from Holland finally got back with me today. Their rider policy is minimum of 12 years old, no exceptions. But thanks for the info @ChinatownChinatown Thanks this.

Man, I've been where you are! I was an owner operator with a truck and trailer, making decent money hauling swinging meat to the coast. I was gone from home ten-ish days at a time and the typical sob story you hear in truck stops happened. My wife and I split up, I got sole custody of our daughter and took her on the road with me. She was eight at the time and we made it work for a year with a home school program but she was missing out on so much....social interaction with kids her age. I gave my equipment back to the bank, got a local job, made less money, moved into a cheaper house in a cheaper part of town. We ate less, had less and lived paycheck to paycheck. She went back to public school and graduated from college, started a career which she recently took leave from to have her son which she plans to remain home with him for the first few years.
Giving up my truck was and still is the best thing I could of done for my child. She and now her son are the most important things in my life. Now that she has a great man to take care of her, I can move on...
Others may disagree with me but a truck is no place to raise a child. Vacation time? Yes, it is a great experience for them. Kids need the social interaction of other kids to grow. They will forget many things about their child as we all do. But some of the best things will stick and in a few years you will see how your choice plays out. -
Try WEL Companies; they advertise you can take family or freinds + pets.
