Anyone have info about their Williamsport Maryland DC? Its the closest one for me. I am interested in their "transfer" position. Is that position as it sounds? You basically do pick ups at customers and take that load back to the DC and also do dc to dc runs? If so, that sounds too easy. Do you have to live near the dc because I am about 200 miles from there? Would I be able to take the truck home? Also do they allow inverters, the ones you have to hard wire to the battery? Any idea on what the Maryland DC service area is? One last question, do they do orientation at all locations or just one? Thanks in advance for the reply.

@TDriver4Life yes the transfer driver position is pretty much what you described. Unfortunately I believe they want you to live within 100 miles of the dc. I would check with them though, they might have a drop lot closer to you. No they generally don't allow people to take the trucks home. I would just give them a call and describe your scenario and see if they can work with you. At my dc they allow inverters, you just have to pay for it and the shop will install it for you. The Maryland dc services most of the East coast. As a transfer driver I would assume you would be running to the dc's in New York, Indiana, Tennessee, and Georgia. And yes they do orientation in all locations. Sorry for the late reply but if you have anymore questions just let me know
