Prime: Forced NYC dispatch?

Delivered to Little West 12th street, Western Beef in Queens, Melba Utica in Brooklyn, Hunts Point. Congestion in NYC at 4am isnt that bad.

As for navigation, I found NYC had truck routes pretty well marked...and I didn't even have a GPS back then.

 

Western Beef, been there, not as bad as some other places, just have to make sure you don't Rip the doors off pulling out LOL

I got some bomb ### pastrami there for sandwiches. I was there all day so I figured I might as well grocery shop.

 

My last load delivered to a town called Skokie just north of Chicago. Traffic was heavy but manageable until I got unloaded and had to back out of a dealership onto a 4 lane street downtown.
Dealership was packed so tight there was only one lane in with a 90 degree turn to go back out that would've been tight for a pickup truck.
When I asked the guys in the shop how trucks normally delivered there they said they've never seen it done without blocking traffic. Ridiculous.

 

Are NYC deliveries typically very early morning due to all the congestion in the city?
