Delivered to Little West 12th street, Western Beef in Queens, Melba Utica in Brooklyn, Hunts Point. Congestion in NYC at 4am isnt that bad.
As for navigation, I found NYC had truck routes pretty well marked...and I didn't even have a GPS back then.

My last load delivered to a town called Skokie just north of Chicago. Traffic was heavy but manageable until I got unloaded and had to back out of a dealership onto a 4 lane street downtown.
Dealership was packed so tight there was only one lane in with a 90 degree turn to go back out that would've been tight for a pickup truck.
When I asked the guys in the shop how trucks normally delivered there they said they've never seen it done without blocking traffic. Ridiculous. -
Are NYC deliveries typically very early morning due to all the congestion in the city?

I received the alert of a response, only to have my hopes crushed!
